scope:
The cleaning compounds covered by this specification are used for cleaning the exterior surface of aircraft.
The cleaning compounds covered by this specification are furnished in the following types, as specified (see 6.2):
Type I - General purpose, aromatic solvent base
Type Ia - General purpose, aromatic solvent base, aerosol
Type II - General purpose, non-solvent
Type IIa - General purpose, non-solvent, aerosol
Type IV - Rubberized spot cleaner
Type V - Gel-type wheel well degreaser, low solvent (less than 10%)
