The standard contains standardized procedures for the calcul ation of the effects of the short-circuit currents in two se ction as follows: Section 1: The thermal effect on rigid conductors and slack conductors. Section 2: The thermal effect on bare conductors. Only a.c. systems for rated voltages up to an including 72.5 kV are dealt with in this standard.
