scope:
This specification covers two types of vehicular composite light assemblies each consisting of a service driving light, infrared driving light, blackout driving light, and a blackout marker light. The vehicular composite light assemblies are referred to herein as "light assemblies". The light assemblies are designed for use on military tracked vehicles equipped with nominal 24-volt (V) direct current (dc) electrical systems (see 6.1).
The light assemblies are of the following types, as specified (see 6.2):
Type I - Quick detachable.
Type II - Bolt-down base.
