1. SCOPE
The material defined by this specification is a grade of low light transmittance laminated float glass which will meet test requirements as described in American National Institute Safety Code: ANSI Standard Z26.1, 1977, January 26, 1977, as supplemented by Z26.1a, July 3, 1980, and incorporated by reference in FMVSS 205, February 23, 1984. The laminate consists of two pieces of 2.3 mm clear or heat absorbing float glass having a polyvinyl butyral interlayer (ESB-M4D356-A).
