This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the carbon steel tubes, alloy steel tubes, austenite stainless steel tubes and nickel-chromium-iron alloy tubes (here-after referred to as "tubes"), for heating the process fluids in the fired heaters mainly used in petroleum refinery, petrochemical industry, etc.

Annex A specifies the special quality requirements which the purchaser can designate in addition to the requirements in the main text upon prior agreement with the manufacturer.
