PREFACE
The standards set forth herein apply to the twenty-sixth edition of the Standard for Household Cooking Gas Appliances, ANSI Z21.1-1996, and supersede corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising subcommittee, they were accepted by Acdited Standards Committee Z21 and subsequently approved as an American National Standard by the American Nationai Standads Institute, Inc.
