The standards set forth herein apply to the twenty-seventh edition of the Standard for Household Cooking Gas Appliance, ANSI Z21.1-2000 and supersede corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising Technical Advisory Group, they were accepted by the ANSI and subsequently approved.
