This Practice describes the requirements for furnishing and installing augered cast-in-place piles. Probe piles and pile load tests are included if within the contact scope of work.

Comment: PIP STE02465, a guide for use by engineers designing and specifying augered cast-in-place piles, is available on the PIP web site or from the PIP office. PIP STE02465 supplements PIP STS02465 and provides assistance to the engineer preparing contract documents for furnishing and installing augered cast-in-place piles.
