scope:

This specification sets forth the requirements for: (1) removal, refurbishment, modification, and installation of an AN/FPS-60 series radar presently installed at deactivated military sites; (2) refurbishment, modification, and installation of AN/FPS-60 radars in Government storage; and (3) refurbishment of AN/FPS-60 series radars in place. The radars to be relocated will be installed in ARSR type buildings. The contractor will install and check out the FPS-60 NAS interface modification kit which will provide improved operational capability, system reliability and maintainability for air route traffic control.
