The standard describes specific robot characteristics which significantly affect robot performance, how they are to be specified and the test procedures used to measure the characteristics. These characteristics include e.g pose accuracy, stabilization time, path velocity and static compliance. The aim of this amendment to ISO 9283 is to give quidance for the selection of essential robot test for typical applications.
