This standard defines the requirements which precede the endorsement by The Ministry of Defence (MOD) of a Flight Authorisation Certificate (FAC) (formerly MOD Form 1090) when aircraft undertake Authorised Flights and initial Engine Ground Running Certificate (EGRC)(formerly form DGDQA 0061), for contracts invoking DEFCON 638 or Form 6/38.
