scope:
This specification covers one type of fire control quadrant which provides a measure of elevation angles. It is equipped with numerical counters which indicate elevation settings and corrections. The level vial and counters are radioactively illuminated. (See 6.1)
intended Use:
The Quadrant, Fire Control M17 when attached to a telescope and quadrant mount is used for laying the artillery weapon in elevation for indirect fire.
