CWA 13987:2003 is likely to be of interest to any organisation or individual involved in smart card deployment, including providers of smart card enabled terminals for access to public services (Card Acceptors). This part of CWA 13987:2003 is an informative part. It gives guidance on how to create, operate and maintain a Card Community, which allows Card Holders of cards conforming to Part 1 of CWA 13987:2003 to gain access to applications from Application Service Providers at terminals provided by Card Acceptors.
