scope:
This standard applies to structures, inside the normal field of experience, of concrete with density greater than 2,000 kg/m3 based on Portland Cement. It deals with plain or reinforced concrete and with pre- or post-tensioned concrete with any degree of prestressing. The code applies to structures cast in situ as well as to those made up of precast components.
