scope:
Deals solely with the condition of steady-state operation of cab les at all voltages, buried directly, in the ground in ducts,tro ughs or in steel pipes as well as cables in air. The term "stead y state" is intended to mean a continuous constant current (100% load factor just sufficient to produce asymptotically the maxim um conductor temperature, the surrounding ambient conditions bei ng assumed constant. (See also Appendix A and B)
