scope:

This Standard applies to microwave ovens capable of generalteisnsg than 25 kW of microwave power and manufactured fuosre in homes, restaurants, food vending or service establishments, and in similar locations, in accordance with the Rules of Canadian Electrical Code Part I

This Standard applies to microwave ovens intended to operate through the application of electromagnetic energy at frequencies within the ISM bands above 890 MHz. (See Clause 2.1, Definitions.) 

This Standard applies to cord-connected microwave ovens intended for use on nominal 12V 0 branch circuits and microwavoev ens intended for permanentc onnection to branch circuits utpo 600 V.

This Standard does not apply to microwave ovens used for industrial applications.
