This Standard is one of a series of standards dealing with the sampling and testing of paints, varnishes and related products. It is also applicable to binders for paints and varnishes. It specifies a test method for determining the non-volatine matter content by mass of paints and varnishes, as well as resins and resin solutions that are intended for use as binders for paints and varnishes.
