scope:
This Standard specifies the requirements for breathing oxygen in gaseous and liquid form for use in aircraft systems. It also specifies the minimum requirements for the supply pressure and hoses to be used when replenishing aircraft breathing oxygen systems and the test and inspection of liquid and gaseous oxygen bought commercially for use in breathing apparatus within the MOD. The Standard excludes oxygen produced by Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) molecular sieve devices.
