The ISDN FIPS is comprised of the protocols, Implementation Agreements and conformance tests regarding the D-channel procedures for the underlying (Layers 1, 2, and 3) ISDN protocols, as well as a limited set of other protocols, such as ISDN Bearer Services, X.25 Packet Services, and Terminal Adaption.
ISDN supplementary services are currently not addressed, but will be added in future revisions to the FIPS.
