This NES states the requirements for the physical characteristics, test methods and acceptance standards of nickel aluminium bronze naval alloy Class I and II castings with the repair welding of the casting restricted to the non-wetted surface, that is, where no heat affected zone (HAZ) caused by welding is exposed to sea water.
