This Standard applies to rigid unplasticized poly(viny1 chloride) conduit, elbows, bends, and couplings intended for use at a continuous operating temperature of 75OC for the installation of wires and cables in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, for nonhazardous locations.
Note: See Canadian Electrical Code, Rule 12-1204.
The products covered by this Standard are not threaded and are intended to be joined together by the couplings using a suitable solvent cement
