scope:
Purpose. This regulation prescribes policies, responsibilities, and procedures for the management, acquisition, and use of Army-owned, Army-leased, or otherwise controlled nontactical vehicles (NTVs). This regulation implements Department of Defense (DOD) Directive 4500.36 and incorporates information for managing Commercial Design Vehicles, Federal Supply Classification 2300.
Applicability. This regulation applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard (ARNG), and the U.S. Army Reserve (TSAR). It also applies to all Department of the Army civilian employees, foreign nationals, and contractors employed by the Department of the Army.
