Foreword

This draft Amendment to ETS 300 156 (1992) has been produced by the Business TeleCommunications (BTC) Technical Committee of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), and is now submitted for the Unified Approval Procedure (UAP) phase of the ETSI standard approval procedure.

This Amendment contains changes to three subclauses of ETS 300 152 (1992) as detailed below.

Subclause 4.2 is amended to correct the requirements applicable to TEs supporting more than one automatic or non-automatic TEI value.

Clause 9 is amended to include direct references to subclause 4.2 , and to delete the incorrect requirement to support TEI 127 with SAPI O.

Subclause A.2.2.7 is amended to clarify that the tests of this subclause are only applicable to terminals which support the layer 2 management procedures in the circumstances required by subclause 4.2
