This INTERIM Defence Standard specifies requirements for a water-based paint suitable for application to painted equipment to provide a temporary camouflage. The material has specific infra-red, visible and ultraviolet reflecting properties and paint to this INTERIM Standard shall comply with the requirements of STANAG 2835.
The paint, when applied to equipment, shall have a useful life of not less than 6 months and be capable of being removed with water.
Paint to this INTERIM Standard shall satisfy the requirements of STANAG 2836.
