This specification defines the performance requirements for applied special paint finishes on metallic or plastic surfaces on parts and components, used for interior applications on motor vehicles. The individual special effect paint finishes, e. g. "soft touch" or "soft feeling" are defined in standards as approved by Styling and Product Engineering Department, responsibility rests with ITDC PE-Body Interior Department. Two types of differing requirements, arespecified dependent upon the service operation of the component. 1 Zweck In dieser Prüfvorschrift sind die allgemeinen Anforderungen festgelegt, die an Effektlackierungen auf Metall- und Kunststoffoberflächen an Teilen für Anwendung im Innenraum von Kraftfahrzeugen gestellt werden.
