This INTERIM Standard specifies requirements for a mechanical wood free paper suitable for the manufacture of teleprinter rolls for use in telegraph machines and data systems in which it will be printed. This paper has superior ageing properties and can be stored for a longer period than a paper containing mechanical wood.
