This Standard provides information, guidance and specific requirements for the preparation, presentation and provision of technical data for LSA, whether as a new to service nature or as part of an ongoing procurement programme for an LSA nature already in-service.
This Standard also specifies the information required from the Contractor to initiate and maintain a computerized technical history and proof record of all LSA natures used by the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence (UK MOD). Examples of the forms to be used are provided in this Standard.
Where considered appropriate, this Standard may be used to specify technical data requirements for overseas customers of ammunition manufactured by UK contractors.
