This Defence Standard defines requirements and procedures to be adopted when materials are used in proximity to, or in contact with explosives.
It is concerned with the possible deleterious effects of materials upon explosives thereby impairing safety, reliability or service life.
It is not concerned with the possible deleterious effects of explosives upon the materials.
