scope:
Purpose. This regulation outlines responsibilities and prescribes policies for planning and conducting inspections in Army organizations.
Applicability. This regulation applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve. This regulation remains in effect during mobilization. This regulation does not apply to those compliance inspections of surety operations and activities that are described in Army Regulation 20-1 and governed by the 50-series Army Regulations.
