This specification covers the general requirements for solid bare and alloyed cored welding electrode and cut-length rods made from carbon steel, low alloy steel, chromium-nickel steel, nickel base and copper base alloys, aluminum, and aluminum alloys designed for use with the gas metal-arc (GMA), gas tungsten-arc (GTA), and the submerged-arc welding (SAW) processes, as applicable.
intended Use:
Solid bare and alloyed cored welding electrodes and cut-length rods are intended for use with the GMA, GTA and SAW welding processes.
