This NATO Glossary of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Terms and Definitions has been prepared under the terms of STANAG 2367. Its purpose is to standardize the chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear terminology used throughout the Alliance by those personnel who have special responsibilities for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense. Those terms with a general military significance are also included in AAP-6, the NATO Glossary of Terms and Definitions.
