This part of the seven European Telecommunication Standard 300 133 describes the radio air interface specification of the European Radio Message System (ERMES). All aspects of the radio subsystem are defined including the transmission protocol, information format, channel coding and modulation characteristics. Operation of the radio subsystem and procedures on the air interface are defined and described.
