NOTE:
This guide specification covers requirements for base or subbase courses in conjunction with vehicular paving where the surface course will require more than 907 metric tons 1000 tons of flexible (asphaltic concrete) pavement. Use guide for "Bituminous Paving and Base Course" for base courses for lesser quantities of flexible pavement for vehicular paving. This guide may also be used for base course under rigid pavement where appropriate.
