This specification covers the requirements for polyester reinforced synthetic rubber hose for use with reusable end fittings for medium and high pressure service in water and oil systems. These items are primarily intended for use in piping systems as flexible connections to resiliently mounted (sound mounted) equipment but may be used, as applicable for other applications. Any fittings approved under this specification will be suitable with any hose approved under this specification and an approved assembly will consist of any combination of approved hose and fittings.
