This specification is approved for use by the Naval Sea Systems Command based upon currently available technical information but it has not been approved for promulgation as a coordinated revision of MIL-V-81940/4. It is subject to modification. However, pending its promulgation as a coordinated military specification, it may used in acquisition.
The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist of this specification sheet and the issue of the following specification listed in that issue of the Department of Defense Index of Specifications and Standards (DODISS) specified in the solicitation: MIL-V-81940.
