This specification sets forth the requirements for an Azimuth Pulse Generator (APG) to be mounted on Air Route Surveillance Radar (ARSR) antenna pedestals. When mounted on the radar antenna pedestal and coupled to the ARSR antenna drive system, the APG is to generate 4096 incremental pulsed outputs and one reference pulse for each 360 degree rotation of the radar antenna.
