This Guidance applies to all customer major injuries, employee injuries and other significant incidents.
Purpose
The Go, Look, See is an opportunity for managers to ensure that the correct actions have been taken to prevent recurrence, to demonstrate our commitment to safety, for managers to demonstrate safety leadership and to highlight the seriousness of incidents. It also helps us to build engagement and trust.
The Go, Look, See is intended to be a collaborative approach to understand how an accident happens.
An initial Go, Look, See may be carried out by the local manager before the injured person returns to work.
