scope:

This Standard specifies the methods of bend test for butt welded joint of metallic materials and butt welded joint of cladding.

This Standard is applicable to all metallic materials in all forms of product with butt welded joint made by any welding process (including friction welding, friction stir welding, diffusion welding, etc.).
