scope:

Applicability.

This regulation applies to the Active Army , the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve while on active duty, unless otherwise stated. It also applies to Army retirees and Army appropriated fund and nonappropriated fund employees.

Purpose

This regulation prescribes the policies and responsibilities for-

a. Establishing and operating an Army Community Service (ACS) center at Army installations.

b. Office of the Installation Volunteer Coordinator (IVC).

c. Organizations accepting voluntary services.
