VDI 3837

Ground-borne vibration in the vicinity of at-grade rail systems - Spectral prediction method

active, Most Current
Organization: VDI
Publication Date: 1 January 2013
Status: active
Page Count: 40
ICS Code (Construction of railways): 93.100
ICS Code (Vibrations, shock and vibration measurements): 17.160
ICS Code (Railway engineering in general): 45.020
scope:

In this guideline, the basic dependencies for the emission, transmission and immission of vibrations are shown. Built upon this, a spectral forecast for vibrations in the frequency range of 4 Hz to 80 Hz, which originate from overground tracks, is described.

Note 1: For the forecast of vibration immissions which originate from underground tracks, see DIN ISO 14837-1.
