This guideline applies to all ventilation and airconditioning systems and components within the scope of VDI 6022 Part 1. It describes the checking procedure and the check criteria for ventilation and air-conditioning systems according to the requirements of VDI 6022 Part 1 in the context of the initial hygiene inspection.
VDI 6022 Part 1.1 is not intended to be used for assessing indoor air quality as per VDI 6022 Part 3.
