The measurement and analysis conditions for form measurements can be derived from the measured object's function and the tolerances of the relevant features.
Concrete application examples are used to show how measurement and analysis conditions can be defined. Section 4 puts together examples of appropriate parameter sets that are feature-, productand/ or company-specific. In addition, as regards the choice of parameters, it is also referred to VDI/VDE 2631 Part 1.
In order to achieve comparability between measurement results obtained with different systems, the essential parameters of those measurements should agree with each other.
