active, Most Current
Organization: VDI
Publication Date: 1 September 2011
Status: active
Page Count: 20
ICS Code (Other standards related to freight distribution of goods): 55.180.99
scope:

Guideline VDI 2700 Part 14 describes a test procedure for determining the coefficients of friction (and coefficients of sliding friction in particular) which are required for the calculation of frictional forces and for the selection of load-securing measures in accordance with the series of guidelines VDI 2700.

The present guideline is primarily directed at testing and inspection institutes entrusted with determining such coefficients of sliding friction as are relevant to securing loads.
