scope:
The present guideline describes the state of the art in accordance with Art. 3 (6) of BImSchG (Federal Immission1) Control Act) [G1] for plants in which lead and lead alloys are produced.
It extends from delivery, initial inspection, unloading and storage of the feedstock through to the output of end products, by-products and wastes.
Reference is made to the laws, ordinances, and administrative and other regulations applicable specifically to the construction and operation of such plant [G1 to G27].
1) Immission is used in Germany to refer to the level of pollution to which a receptor is exposed.
