scope:
This standard describes the state of the art of plants for the production of carbon and electrographite materials including storage and handling of the raw and auxiliary materials, intermediate and end products and the preparation of the input materials regardless of whether or not such plants are subject to permitting. Moreover, the management and minimisation of side products, solid wastes and liquid effluents are considered in the description of the individual unit operations.
