scope:
This guideline is designed to be a compilation of technical specifications and requirements profiles for building automation and control (BAC). Building upon that, possible valuation criteria are described.
Using the lists, selections must be made for the construction project about which criteria shall possibly be used in which planning phase. The different specifications can be filled in by the investor, user, object planner, technical planner or the other persons involved in the planning, as well as by the contracting firms.
If the level of detail has to be increased (refinement) or decreased (reduction to guidance criteria), this has to be proposed to the client on a case-by-case basis according to the selected tendering process, depending on the degree of influence the object planner/ technical planner has on the execution.
The individual descriptions of type and construction of systems and components found in the planning data sheets are to be filled out multiple times, if necessary, according to the planning and depending on the room requirements (different usages).
The investor's specifications shall always be included in the list.
This guideline shall only be used in conjunction with the guideline VDI 6028 Part 1.
