This guideline applies to cleanroom clothing intended for repeated use. Single-use cleanroom clothing that is disposed of after use is not the subject of this guideline.
The requirements and the dimensioning of process stages described below are to be selected and specified keeping in mind the pertinent cleanliness requirements to be met by the cleanroom clothing. In this sense, this guideline does not describe a standardized process, but rather a catalogue of measures whose dimensioning depends on the required degree of cleanliness of the cleanroom clothing to be treated.
