Dieser Teil der IEC 62325 spezifiziert ein Paket für den Übertragungskapazität-Bereitstellungs- Geschäftsprozess durch explizite oder implizite Auktionen und die dazugehörigen Dokument-Kontext-Modelle (en: document contextual model), Baugruppenmodelle und XML-Schemata zum Gebrauch innerhalb von Märkten europäischer Art.

Diese Norm basiert auf dem Kontextmodell für Märkte europäischer Art (en: European style market contextual model, IEC 62325-351). Der Planungsprozess, der durch diese Norm abgedeckt wird, ist in Abschnitt 5 beschrieben.

Die relevanten aggregierten Kernkomponenten (en: aggregated core components, ACC), die in IEC 62325-351 definiert sind, wurden in aggregierte Geschäftsinformationseinheiten (en: aggregated business information entities, ABIE) kontextualisiert, um die Anforderungen dieses Geschäftsprozesses zu erfüllen.

Das kontextualisierte ABIE wurde in das relevante Dokument-Kontext-Modell eingebaut. Verwandte Baugruppenmodelle und XML-Schemata für den Austausch von Übertragungskapazitätsbereitstellungs- Informationen zwischen Marktteilnehmern werden automatisch erstellt von zusammengesetzten Dokument- Kontext-Modellen.
