General

SSI equipment to BRB Specification 1900 is designed for connection to normal 110V 50Hz signalling supplies where any break in supply causes a switchover to an alternative supply within a few seconds. SSI equipment will tolerate supply voltages of 94V to 122V, at a frequency of 49Hz to 51Hz. Therefore, the nominal power supply voltage shall be in the range 100 - 115V with a maximum voltage fluctuation of ±6% and maximum frequency fluctuation of ±2% (or ±1Hz). More detailed information is shown in BR Specification 1900.
