PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The application of Safety Rules and operational procedures on Equipment at the operational interface needs to be consistent and easily understood by staff. The Grid Code requires National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) to produce Site Responsibility Schedules (SRS) for all Connection Sites and to inform site operational staff, NGET and Users Control Engineers of agreed responsibilities for Plant and Apparatus at the operational interface (Grid Code Connection Conditions CC.7.3.1).
The format, principles and basic procedures for the preparation are detailed in Grid Code Connection Conditions Appendix 1 (CC.A.1). As the SRSs are inter-company documents, Plant and Apparatus in the context of SRSs are as defined in the Grid Code not as defined in NGET Rules.
As NGET holds the transmission licence all SRSs shall refer to NGET
